YouTube creators will soon bid farewell to Stories, as the popular video-sharing platform is phasing out its version of the feature. Starting June 26th, users will no longer be able to create new YouTube Stories, and any existing Stories will vanish after seven days.
Initially introduced as “reels” in late 2017, YouTube began testing the Stories format before rebranding and gradually expanding its availability in the following year.
