The unnamed new project from Shinji Mikami’s Tango Gameworks looks to have leaked online ahead of the Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct event on January 25. The Tokyo-based business created the well-known The Evil Within, and the more current Ghostwire: Tokyo has lately been rumoured.
The next project from Tango Gameworks hasn’t been revealed yet, and no information about what the company is working on has come from official sources. Microsoft acquired ZeniMax Media for $7.5 billion in 2021, bringing important personnel from the Japanese game sector into the Microsoft stable. Mikami is recognised for directing some of Capcom’s most beloved games, including the original Resident Evil and Dino Crisis, and worked with other industry giants like PlatinumGames before launching Tango Gameworks in 2010.
