Skyblivion Mod for Elder Scrolls Skyrim Confirms Release Year in New Trailer

The developers of the much-awaited Skyblivion mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has released a new teaser, giving both good and bad news regarding the mod’s impending release. Skyblivion has been in production for almost as long as Skyrim has been accessible, and fans have eagerly awaited the promise of a mod that upgrades The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in Skyrim’s engine. However, the new Skyblivion release window upgrade may disappoint some.

Skyblivion development started in 2012 as a follow-up to the Morroblivion mod, which incorporated Morrowind into Oblivion’s engine. However, it wasn’t until 2016 that the project started in earnest, with the TESRenewal modding crew expanding significantly in the following years. The newest Skyblivion caravan highlights the excellent work of the TESRenewal team and provides fans with a taste of what to anticipate.
