Additionally, The Division 2 continues to receive seasonal content updates, and the release of the free-to-play spin-off, The Division Heartland, may precede the launch of the third installment. However, very little information has been disclosed about Heartland since its initial announcement in May 2021.
While waiting for the third major title, fans of the series may turn their attention to The Division Heartland once content for The Division 2 starts to wane. Given that the second entry in the series is approaching its fifth year since release, it’s plausible that the most dedicated fans would welcome something fresh while anticipating the next major release. Alternatively, an upgrade for The Division 2 on the PS5 and Xbox Series X could be a welcomed addition for players.
