INJAZ UAE, a youth empowerment organization that provides skills training for youth in the UAE, hosted three virtual sessions to introduce students in the UAE to cloud computing technology, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS conducted the virtual sessions with more than 100 Grade, 12 students, from Dubai National School (Barsha), Al-Ittihad Private School (Mamzar), and the Westminster School.

During the sessions, AWS mentors introduced cloud computing and the ways that the technology is fueling innovation across various industries. The sessions also included an introduction to machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) services from AWS and the ways that these technologies are now easily available for anyone to utilize. Students were also encouraged to continue exploring the broad range of free online resources provided by AWS and to consider a career in technology.

Through similar programs and sessions across the UAE, INJAZ continues to empower the youth by providing them with the knowledge and skills they need to make smart academic and economic choices.  INJAZ UAE has trained over 60,000 students in UAE since its inception in 2005 and in partnership with educators and volunteers from the business community.
