Blizzard, the developer behind World of Warcraft also removed Twitter integration all the way back in February. It is safe to assume that this is purely due to the unreasonable pricing of the Twitter API, and no matter how big of an organisation it may be, spending $42,000 per month, to be able to integrate Twitter into their products, sounds pretty unreasonable.
