This weekend is the big Dying Light 2 DLC announcement

Techland has announced a new episode of the Dying Light 2 web series, “Dying to Know,” which will provide information about the game’s impending DLC.

The future DLC for Dying Light 2 will be revealed in a big way.

Dying Light 2 users have been impatiently awaiting word on Techland’s first narrative DLC release for the game. Players understood that Dying Light 2’s season pass would ultimately bring a continuation of the game’s plot through DLC when it arrived earlier this year. Since then, it’s been a question of endurance. That wait is almost over, as Techland has confirmed that the upcoming episode of its Dying to Know web series is one that fans should not miss.

When Dying Light 2 was initially released in February, Techland posted a post-launch roadmap outlining future DLC releases. The DLC comprised the recently published challenge sets, Mutated Infected events, and Dying Light 2’s first narrative DLC, which was released in June. Since then, there have been a series of significant delays to the narrative DLC. It most definitely did not come in June. Even though the DLC was postponed until November, the anticipation has risen, and it is now closer to reality than ever.

On November 6, Techland will release the “Bloody Ties Special” episode of “Dying 2 Know.” Of course, Bloody Ties is the title of Dying Light 2’s planned narrative DLC, and the next web series episode will “unleash a slew of fresh information.” On Sunday, November 6, the episode will begin streaming on Techland’s Twitch account at 12:00 p.m. PT/9:00 p.m. CET.

While the next Dying Light 2 event will reveal the final details for the Bloody Ties DLC, Techland has already said that it will be released on November 10. There is no evidence that the DLC has been postponed further. The official Dying Light 2 website still displays the DLC’s release date as November 10.

Those who return to Dying Light 2 before the DLC is released will be rewarded. Pre-ordering Bloody Ties or purchasing Dying Light 2’s Deluxe or Ultimate Editions will get you the Aristocrat Pack of cosmetic DLC. The Aristocrat Guard uniform and the Aristocrat axe are included in the set.

The new Dying Light 2 DLC will be released during one of the busiest seasons of the year.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is already available, while Sonic Frontiers and God of War: Ragnarok will be available in the days leading up to November 10. The next week is jam-packed with new releases, including Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Techland is probably expecting that the DLC release will boost Dying Light 2 sales for Black Friday, but it’s a dangerous move. Bloody Ties should be able to persuade players to select it over other games this holiday season.
