The Tesla Cybertruck generates 845 HP, comes with a 340 mile range

Remember November 21, 2019? That’s when the Tesla Cybertruck dropped, looking like a polygonal dream. It was a wild concept promising big things – range, power, and a decent price. Fast forward, and now it’s an actual truck on the streets. But does it live up to the hype from those pre-pandemic days?

Let’s get into the nitty-gritty of the Cybertruck. It comes in hot with a headline-grabbing 845 horsepower, thanks to the tri-motor powertrain in the “Cyberbeast” version. If that’s too much for your taste, the dual-motor AWD still packs a punch with 600 hp. Sadly, we’re left in the dark about the single-motor Cybertruck, and Tesla’s keeping mum on power ratings.

During the big debut, Elon Musk spilled the beans on the Cybertruck’s weight – a hefty 6,800 pounds. With the Cyberbeast roaring at 845 hp, Tesla claims a 0-60 mph sprint in just 2.6 seconds and a quarter-mile time under 11 seconds. The 600-hp dual-motor version is a tad slower, hitting 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. The single-motor? Well, that’s still a mystery, but Tesla’s website suggests a 6.5-second 60-mph time.

Talking range, things have shifted since 2019. The dual-motor Cybertruck leads the pack with an estimated 340 miles. Oddly enough, the powerhouse Cyberbeast isn’t far behind at 320 miles. The single-motor option? It’s looking at around 250 miles.

Now, dollars and cents. The base single-motor Cybertruck starts at $60,990, but hold your horses – it won’t hit the streets until 2025. The dual-motor AWD is a bit steeper, starting at $79,990. And no surprises here, the top-dog Cyberbeast is the most expensive, coming in at a cool $99,990.
