Gurman anticipates Apple to reveal upgraded versions of the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro, as well as a new Mac mini, before the new Mac Pro comes. He claims that Apple’s next high-end laptops will have the company’s new M2 Pro and M2 Max CPUs, while the Mac mini will use the same M2 silicon as the 2022 MacBook Air. Gurman also mentions that Apple has internally tested an M2 Pro form of the Mac mini, but he doesn’t say if the firm intends to market that version of the machine. These gadgets should be available in the next months.
