The Moto G Stylus 2022 has been officially released

The third-generation Moto G Stylus is here and includes many major upgrades over last year’s model. We now start with a display with a higher refresh rate of 90Hz and a central cutout for a 16MP selfie camera.

It’s still a 6.8-inch FHD+ LCD with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The main selling point of this phone is the stylus stored in the case, and while it’s not quite as good as the Samsung S Pen, it’s a much more accessible way to take notes and sketch with your phone while using it.

The new Moto G stylus features a 50-megapixel main camera on the back, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide/macro lens, and a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor. On the right frame is a fingerprint scanner. Motorola has decided to adopt the MediaTek Helio G88 with 6GB of RAM, 2GB more than last year’s model.

The new phone also sports a larger 5,000 mAh battery compared to the 4,000 mAh on its predecessor. The software side is covered by Android 11 with Moto’s My UX interface on top.

The Moto G Stylus 2022 is available in Twilight Blue and Metallic Rose. It comes in one 6/128GB package and retails for $299. Motorola US lists an estimated delivery date of February 17th, and pre-orders are already open.
