On Saturday, Lucasfilm unveiled the last teaser for the Star Wars: Andor series, which takes place before the events of the 2016 film Rogue One. Diego Luna will reprise his role as the titular Cassian Andor, with the program following his transformation from thief to rebel.
Andor premieres on Disney Plus on September 21st with three episodes. Its first season is planned to include 12 episodes in total, however, we don’t know when these episodes will be released.
Lucasfilm also previewed Tales of the Jedi, an animated shorts series that will premiere on Disney Plus on October 23rd. It also set a January 4th, 2023 release date for the second season of The Bad Batch, a Clone Wars spinoff.
Disney Plus has recently been on a roll with original Star Wars material, with Skeleton Crew, Ahsoka, and a third season of The Mandalorian already in the works.
