Although some may argue that the PS4 version of Part 2 does not require an upgrade, there is an opportunity for Naughty Dog to enhance the graphic textures and models, as was done between Part 1 and Part 2. Additionally, the PS5’s capabilities, such as DualSense support, Fidelity and Performance modes, and potential new content hinted at by Santaolalla, could make the re-release an enticing package for fans. As a result, the prospect of a native PS5 edition of The Last of Us Part 2 is generating further interest and anticipation.
