Capcom has announced that it will be releasing a free playable demo of Street Fighter 6 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles on April 26th. This demo will allow players to experience the first part of the World Tour mode and create their own avatars for use in the full game.
Street Fighter 6 is set to launch on June 2nd, 2023, and Capcom has also revealed the first four playable characters for the game’s first year. Rashid, A.K.I., Akuma, and Ed will be available for players to choose from as they battle their way through the game.
The developer has also given details about the single-player modes in Street Fighter 6, including the World Tour mode. This mode will allow players to level up their avatars, explore locations like Metro City, and interact with famous characters from the Street Fighter and Capcom universes, such as Haggar and Carlos Miyamoto.
Street Fighter 6 will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game will feature Ryu and Chun-Li, as well as Luke, a key DLC character from Street Fighter V. Capcom has described Luke as a key player in the future of Street Fighter who will help expand the game’s world.
With the release of the free playable demo, fans can get an early taste of what Street Fighter 6 has to offer and prepare for the full game’s launch on June 2nd.
