STARZPLAY and Image Nation Abu Dhabi hosted a screening of the first two episodes of the new STARZPLAY original series “Kaboos” at Cinema Akil. Cast and crew members attended the event, including Rakeen Saad, Passant Shawky, and Hana Kazim. The series is inspired by Arab mythology and storytelling traditions, and takes viewers through frightening urban legends from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, and the UAE.
The series is set to stream exclusively on STARZPLAY starting from February 9 and features five standalone episodes that depict a modern retelling of stories inspired by regional mythology. The series is produced by Yasir Al Yasiri’s and Mansoor Al Feeli’s production company, starship Entertainment. The launch of Kaboos shows STARZPLAY’s commitment to diversifying its content to meet the needs of its audiences and is available in 19 countries across the Middle East and North Africa.
