Bethesda Game Studios, who brought us the iconic Starfield game, have announced on their official channels that they will be bringing the much awaited Nvidia DLSS support in the Steam Beta next week. The game has been in the market for close to two months now, but the PC players have been patiently waiting for DLSS support,as it will significantly improve the gameplay and experience.
It now looks like the wait is almost over for the gamer community and they will now be able to enjoy the spacefaring RPG at it’s full potential. “We’ve been hard at work on [Starfield] updates and will be putting our next one into Steam Beta next week,” Bethesda explained.
“This update will feature Nvidia DLSS support with frame regeneration, display and HDR controls for supported systems, and other optimizations and improvements. You’ll be able to opt-in to try it via the Steam Beta options. We’d love your feedback before it goes live for all PC and Xbox players after that.”
At launch, Bethesda had included the Radeon FSR2 upscaler, which was good, but players wanted DLSS, which some achieved through modding. But with the official DLSS on the way, modders can focus on creating more immersive and creative content. There is a DLC also on the way, which has been titled “Shattered Space”, but the developers have not yet made an official announcement regarding the launch date for the same.
