Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to Offer Unrestricted Planetary Exploration in Newest Game Installment

Respawn has provided further facts about the planets in the run-up to the release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. According to a recent video in which IGN highlighted its five hours of gameplay with the game, the sequel would apparently expand beyond the more linear arrangement of the planets in the first Star Wars: Fallen Order. At least some of the new worlds that players will explore are called “broad open” and look to provide players more leeway in what they do.

The video went over Koboh, one of the new planets in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and gave a deeper look at how the planet appeared in the game. While the early phases of Koboh were more constrained, it eventually becomes much more open, producing a “world that sprawls out in every direction,” according to IGN. Its more open structure helps players to discover surprises and opponents that they would otherwise miss if they merely followed the main path.
