The long-awaited console versions of the Final Fantasy “pixel perfect” remaster games are finally arriving on April 19th, much to the delight of fans who have been eagerly anticipating their release. Square Enix initially released these remasters for PC and mobile in 2021, featuring updated 2D graphics, rearranged soundtracks, and new gameplay features designed for modern HD displays. Now, the games will be available on both the PS4 and Nintendo Switch, either as a bundle or as individual purchases.
One of the notable features of these remasters is the ability to switch between the old and rearranged soundtracks, allowing players to experience the nostalgia of the original games or enjoy the updated music. Additionally, a new pixel-based font has been designed to recreate the classic gaming experience, and players can also choose to turn off random encounters or use boost features to speed up leveling.
