Fans are surprised and perplexed since they had become used to witnessing Splatfests at least once a month in Splatoon 2 throughout its sponsored years. A November Splatfest for Splatoon 3 has already been confirmed, and it will arrive in the second week of the month, which may be too close to Halloween for the creators to want to run both.
