Sonic Frontiers Director Drops Exciting News: Next Game Development Has Begun!

Despite some missteps with Sonic Frontiers, Sega is already working on the next Sonic game and taking player feedback to heart, according to Frontiers director Morio Kishimoto. The upcoming game will retain the open-zone aesthetic, but will feature different areas and deeper, more immersive combat. Kishimoto also plans to focus more on the story and other characters, while potentially adding more playable characters to the mix. Although the Sonic team is primarily focused on single-player experiences, Kishimoto has not ruled out multiplayer games. Additionally, Sega is gearing up for multiple potential Sonic projects, including a possible Sonic Adventure remaster or remake.
