Vampire Survivors

Slay More Vampires with Friends in Vampire Survivors

Up to Four Players Can Now Play Together on the Same Screen

Exciting news for fans of “Vampire Survivors” as the popular game is set to make its way to the Nintendo Switch. Poncle’s hit title will be available on the handheld console starting August 17th, allowing players to enjoy the game on the go or on their TV screens. The base game will be priced at $5, while each of the two expansions will cost $2.

One of the standout features of this release is the addition of couch co-op, which will be available on all platforms. Players will have the opportunity to team up with up to three friends and battle against hordes of enemies together. The highly anticipated co-op mode will be available alongside the game’s launch on August 17th. Although official online co-op support won’t be included, Poncle has mentioned in an FAQ that players can utilize workarounds such as Steam Remote Play Together to enjoy online multiplayer.

Originally released on Steam in late 2021, “Vampire Survivors” later expanded its reach to Xbox and mobile devices. For those unfamiliar with the game, players are tasked with selecting a character who possesses a unique starter weapon and perk. The weapon fires automatically, leaving players in control of their movement and the decision to upgrade their abilities or acquire new weapons and perks as they progress through the game.

Each run in “Vampire Survivors” lasts for approximately 30 minutes, although skilled players may find ways to survive even longer encounters, including facing off against the formidable Death. This makes the game an ideal choice for commuting or when players have a limited amount of time to dive into a thrilling gaming experience.

With its arrival on the Nintendo Switch, “Vampire Survivors” continues to expand its fan base and provide new opportunities for players to team up and conquer its challenging gameplay. Mark your calendars for August 17th to join the ranks of vampire slayers on the go.
