Samsung is aiming to expand its smart TV game streaming ecosystem. Ahead of CES 2024, the company unveiled a new certification program called “Designed for Samsung Gaming Hub.” It will officially designate third-party accessories optimized to work seamlessly with Samsung’s platform.
Hardware partners in the program can display a special “Designed for Samsung Gaming Hub” badge on products meeting Samsung’s criteria. While most Bluetooth controllers technically work with Gaming Hub, this label signifies ideal compatibility, performance quality, safety and security according to Samsung.
However, if you already own a controller connecting via Bluetooth that you enjoy using with Gaming Hub, feel free to stick with that. This new program is primarily for those wanting dedicated shortcut buttons and optimal integration.
