For those who are new, in the game, players take on the role of Sable as she performs a rite of passage known as the Gliding. Sable will journey over a beautiful but crumbling world of sand and memories of ancient civilizations for this rite. She won’t have to walk, thankfully, because she has a customizable hoverbike that can easily zoom through dunes and over obstacles. Sable will have to solve puzzles and learn a secret history along the route, adding richness to an otherwise lonely journey.
Sable’s PlayStation 5 release date is November 29th, and it will contain two significant updates. The first is a fishing mini-game that will be available on other platforms as well. Fishing will be possible across the open world, with players able to capture a wide variety of fish for their Vivarium in Sable. There’s also an Angler Mask to obtain for those who are really confident in their fishing abilities. Sable’s Vivarium is also increasing, with a variety of new insects added. The updates should give players even more reasons to explore Sable’s vast open environment.
