Ranked Mode is now available in MultiVersus Update 1.06

The expected ranked game option, which will enable players to combat others more competitively rather than standard, custom, or practice, is finally included in today’s MultiVersus update. Some MultiVersus players have requested a ranked game mode since its early access release from alpha and beta testing stages, and devs are ready to test it this week.

MultiVersus has revealed that version 1.06 includes the beginnings of a ranked mode, which will expand with the rest of the game in response to user input. While MultiVersus beta gamers assisted developers in balancing characters and fixing bugs, the fighting game’s early access phase features a ranked mode that will need its own modifications. Unlike earlier successful live service games that had competitive modes, such as Overwatch 2 or Valorant, MultiVersus has more in common with games such as Apex Legends or Fortnite, which introduced them in response to public demand.

The creators of MultiVersus have highlighted all of the improvements that players may anticipate in version 1.06, which are mostly focused on character balancing and bug fixes. Patch 1.06 ushers in the much-anticipated Season 1 inclusion of MultiVersus’ ranked combat alpha, which will run through November 15, giving players only one week to check out the competitive game mode. Players that win 15 ranked sets throughout the testing week will be awarded an alpha-exclusive Triumphant Toast Alpha profile symbol, which may include profile flair.

The MultiVersus-rated alpha will assist players in tracking their online ladder progress by distributing ranked points at the end of each online match. MultiVersus developers have urged participants in the ranked alpha to report any difficulties they encounter in order to prepare the competitive mode for an official inclusion to the game mode roster. Aside from the newly introduced ranked mode, the only other changes announced for version 1.06 are a handful of improvements for the previously added Black Adam and lesser changes for Bugs Bunny, Jake the Dog, LeBron James, and Tom and Jerry.

While many MultiVersus players welcomed the arrival of a ranked mode, others criticised the game for not having one until version 1.06. While some fans have already reported issues with the MultiVersus ranked game option, others have complained about unrelated issues like as being unable to pick a character or matchmaking time.
