Qualcomm’s New Chip Aims to Eliminate Audio Lag for Gamers

The New Chip Uses Snapdragon Sound and LE Audio to Deliver Ultra-Low Latency

The new chip also supports the latest version of Auracast, a broadcast standard based on Bluetooth LE Audio. This enables dongles and adapters utilizing Qualcomm’s platform to cast audio from devices like TVs, phones, PCs, and consoles to an unlimited number of nearby listeners. The technology can be leveraged for assistive listening at public events, broadcasting announcements, or simply sharing music with friends in close proximity.
