Surprisingly, the leaked paper includes the start date for a project called “Jupiter,” which is set to begin on April 7 and last until the second half of 2023. While details are few, Project Jupiter is believed to relate to the next main entry in the Call of Duty franchise. Of course, given the nature of the document, all of this should be taken with a grain of salt. Even if the timeline is confirmed, Activision will almost certainly adjust its plans to avoid the problem. Activision has already begun teasing future improvements, such as the return of fan-favorite modes in Call of Duty Season 3. In any case, only time will tell how much of its 2023 content plans will be impacted as a result of this disclosure.
