Pokemon GO Confirms Community Day in May 2023

Pokemon GO has announced a May Community Day featuring Fennekin. Niantic has added a lot of content to the current Pokemon GO season, allowing players new ways to catch different Pokemon and their varieties. With the start of May, Pokemon GO is already anticipating a busy month.

The first Pokemon GO event in May will be An Instinctive Hero. Several Pokemon will be available to obtain during the event, some of which will be unique. One of these Pokemon will be an Elekid with a unique item, while the other will be Larvesta. During the event, the Bug/Fire-type Pokemon will make its debut in Pokemon GO and will be able to be hatched by players from 2km, 5km, and 10km eggs. Along with gaining Larvesta, Pokemon GO users will be able to evolve the Pokemon into Volcarona.

Pokemon GO just announced May Community Day, which will feature Fennekin, adding that the Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild on May 21 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time. Fennekin, along with Chespin and Froakie and other Pokemon from the Kalos region, was added to Pokemon GO in the Season of Celebration in 2020. Players that evolve Braixen, Fennekin’s evolution, during or up to five hours following the event will receive a Delphox with Charged Attack Blast Burn. Players who evolve Braixen at the beginning of the event will receive a Delphox that also knows Charged Attack Mystical Fire.

A $1 ticket will grant access to Fennekin’s special Research tale as well as a themed Field Research with rewards such as Stardust and Ultra Balls. Players will also receive double Stardust and Candy while capturing Pokemon, as well as Trades that require only half the Stardust required. Pokemon GO players can battle Braixen, a fox-based Pokemon, in four-star raids on May 21 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. local time. On May Community Day, themed stickers will be given out when spinning PokeStops and opening Gifts.

When Pokemon GO introduces a new Community Day, it’s usually a positive sign. During this event, participants concentrate their efforts on catching new Pokemon and gathering resources to strengthen Pokemon already obtained. Despite this, the game is going through a difficult period. The Pokemon GO community was dissatisfied with Niantic’s latest adjustments, which may have harmed player involvement in Pokemon GO.
