Pickle Rick Back Bling is now available in Fortnite

Pickle Rick’s bling returns to Fortnite as a free cosmetic that players can earn by completing Horde Rush missions.

Epic Games has brought Pickle Rick back bling to Fortnite, which is accessible to all players and might lead to additional Rick and Morty cosmetics in the future. The Rick and Morty franchise initially intersected with Fortnite in Chapter 2 Season 7, and the free Pickle Rick back bling adds additional cosmetics from the Adult Swim animated series to Epic Games’ battle royale.

Pickle Rick was added to the game in the most recent Fortnite update as a free cosmetic item that players can get by completing Horde Rush tasks in the limited-time game mode. As with previous seasons, the reintroduction of Fortnitemares brought Horde Rush back into the rotation, where it will stay until November 15, when it will be removed for the year. Horde Rush, as opposed to battle royale or other PvP-focused game modes, concentrates on PvE elements from the Save the World client, with a moving circle and a huge monster spawning on the final wave.

Pickle Rick is the lone Rick and Morty freebie and one of the few cosmetics based on existing IP given out for free to Fortnite players who complete eight of the Horde Rush missions. Dealing melee damage to Cube spawners, destroying the monsters that the pillars generate, employing sideways weapons, obtaining headshots, and more are among the Fortnite Horde Rush tasks that players must fulfil. Because these tasks are often fulfilled by only playing a few rounds of Horde Rush, Fortnite gamers may not have to wait long to earn the new Rick and Morty back bling and show it off to their friends in other game types.

Given that Fortnite has already made Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty a level 100 battle pass skin and additional characters have been added to the item store, this Pickle Rick back bling might indicate the release of even more cosmetics based on the famous TV show. Pickle Rick may have been carried over from a prior content drop or was eliminated from the Chapter 2 Season 7 battle pass since Epic Games did not include Queen Summer and Mr. Meeseeks and their packages a long time ago. It’s unknown if Epic Games will create additional Rick and Morty cosmetic stuff, but it may be brought to the game unexpectedly, similar to the previous item store drops.

While many Fortnite players have praised the free Pickle Rick back bling, others believe the character should get a complete skin release in the future. Some Fortnite fans used Pickle Rick’s Fortnite Twitter announcement to express their dissatisfaction with the Fortnitemares game mode and other features of the game that were changed in the latest version.

Fortnite is now available on mobile, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
