Persona 3 Portable Remaster Achievement List Leaks Online

The upcoming remaster of Persona 3 Portable will include an achievement list similar to those in the vanilla versions of Persona 5 and Persona 4 Golden, according to a list that has appeared online. Persona 3 Portable, originally released in 2009 as a PlayStation Portable exclusive, is being remastered for release on multiple platforms, including a first-time release on Steam for PC. The remastered version of the game will feature 36 achievements, including one platinum, five gold, five silver, and 25 bronze, according to the list posted on PowerPyx.

This is a significant reduction from the 139 achievements included in the original PSP release. The list is more streamlined, with achievements requiring players to complete certain tasks or max out social links rather than rewarding them for each character they interact with. For example, the PSP release had separate achievements for finishing the game as the male and female protagonists, but the remaster includes a single gold achievement that requires players to beat the game with both protagonists. Other achievements have been streamlined in a similar way, requiring players to max out one or all of their social links rather than rewarding achievement for each individual character they max out their link with.

This means that players of Persona 3 Portable will need at least two playthroughs in order to unlock all the achievements. While the original version of the game was a lengthy affair that took at least 100 hours to complete, the remastered version includes quality-of-life improvements that should help alleviate some of the tedium. However, some achievements are still tied to challenging conditions, such as beating the game’s superbosses.

Persona 3 Portable was an enhanced version of the original Persona 3 that added new features and made the game portable. It included a playable female protagonist, Kotone Shiomi, whose story differed from that of the male protagonist. The remaster is set to release in the next few weeks, and fans of the series can look forward to experiencing the game in a new way with the addition of the achievement list and other improvements. In the meantime, fans can also look forward to the release of the remaster of Tales of Symphonia, set to release in February for Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
