Paralives Shakes Up the Simulation Genre with Features Absent in The Sims for Decades

The upcoming life simulation game Paralives is introducing a new autonomy system that allows characters to make independent decisions, setting it apart from The Sims series. In a recent Patreon post by the development team, it was revealed that Parafolks, the in-game characters, will be able to autonomously perform certain actions, such as going to work, exploring new activities, and even using the bathroom. Neglecting basic needs, like feeding themselves, can result in Parafolks dying.
