Panasonic has a more modern alternative for making your vehicle smell great. At this year’s CES, the business demonstrated a portable air purifier that fits in practically any automobile cupholder and filters out smells as well as certain dangerous viruses and germs. To clean the air, the gadget incorporates Panasonic’s Nanoe X technology, which uses hydroxyl radicals, a diatomic molecule known to behave as a “detergent” when it comes into contact with contaminants. According to Panasonic, the gadget takes around two hours to freshen up a car’s interior while emitting just about 36 decibels of sound. All you have to do is connect the Nanoe X Portable Air Purifier to one of your vehicle’s USB ports.
Panasonic is not the first manufacturer to launch a portable in-car purifier, but with the exception of Philips, it is not a crowded market. The firm has went above and above to have the Nanoe X Purifer certified by the California Air Resource Board (CARB). Panasonic did not provide price or availability details for the gadget. Those are expected to come at a later date.
