Introducing Venture: A Pioneering Character
Venture, the forthcoming Damage hero, is set to make their debut in Season 10. This hero holds a special place in Overwatch 2 history as the first non-binary character, marking a significant step towards inclusivity in the game. Venture’s character design features a distinctive massive trench coat adorned with visible neck tattoos, giving them a unique and memorable appearance.
Venture wields a remarkable drill as their primary weapon, using it to launch disk-like projectiles at their adversaries. However, it’s not just the projectiles that set this hero apart; the drill boasts a melee attack that propels Venture forward. The most striking feature of this weapon is its ability to burrow under the map, rendering Venture invulnerable for a brief period. This tactical advantage allows them to outmaneuver enemies, flank them, or execute a strategic retreat to their spawn area. Additionally, it grants Venture the capability to deal extra damage while propelling themselves into the air, granting them impressive mobility.
