The “off-board” gameplay was one of the things that earlier games lacked. When you got off your skateboard, all you could do was jog or perform some rudimentary air rolls while falling. However, developer Full Circle intends to spice things up a little. They discussed the progress they’re making in gameplay and the overall concept for the game in a new episode of the developer’s series, The Board Room. Off-board gameplay will be more entertaining, according to one of the primary points. Players will be able to jump fences, scale walls, and do other things. In one mechanism, players may leap off their board, grab a pole, swing from it, and land back on their board. It’s still in the early stages, but it seems like a great way to liven up the game’s mobility and stunts.
