NVIDIA DLSS Accelerates Performance in New Games and GeForce Game Ready Driver Release

This week, there are new game releases and announcements and the launch of NVIDIA’s latest GeForce Game Ready Driver.

Dive into a harrowing survival horror experience with Alan Wake 2: The Lake House, the new expansion for Alan Wake 2. It is set in an eerie new location on the shores of Cauldron Lake. Within the Federal Bureau of Control’s research station, the Lake House, a catastrophic event occurred where reckless experiments caused reality to collide with the Dark Place. This expansion launched on October 22 and unfolds parallel to the main game, putting players in the shoes of FBC agent Kiran Estevez. With a GeForce RTX 40 Series PC, players can increase fidelity and immersion to 11 with fully ray-traced visuals, further refined by DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction. Gamers can play at 4K thanks to NVIDIA’s AI-powered DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation technologies, and maximize responsiveness with NVIDIA Reflex.

Just Purkey Games’ The Axis Unseen is a heavy metal horror game in which players hunt nightmarish monsters from ancient folklore in a mysterious open world. Find out what happens to the hunters in The Axis Unseen who came before the gamers and the secrets they uncover by inspecting their journals and drawings. The game is out now, with day-one support for DLSS 3 with Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and NVIDIA Reflex.

Players can soon experience the critically acclaimed Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered with stunning new visuals and upgraded features launching on October 31. In a far future where colossal machines roam the Earth, pockets of humanity survive in unique tribes among the lush, overgrown ruins of the long-lost civilization. Players can take up a bow and spear as Aloy, a young machine hunter and outcast of her tribe, discovers her origins, the truth of this mysterious world, and her destiny to save it from impending doom. GeForce RTX gamers can accelerate performance with NVIDIA DLSS 3 along with Frame Generation and Super Resolution, making gameplay more responsive with NVIDIA Reflex, and max out image quality with DLAA (which can be used together with Frame Generation).

Torn Banner Studios’ No More Room In Hell 2 is an intense and terrifying permadeath co-op journey into the eerie darkness of zombie-infested zones. Players can deploy their wits and deadly reflexes to survive against the unstoppable forces of the undead. No More Room In Hell 2 launched into Early Access on October 22, featuring day-one support for NVIDIA DLSS 3 with Frame Generation and Super Resolution, DLAA, and Reflex, giving GeForce RTX 40 series gamers the best possible experience.

Putting their business acumen to the test, players embark on a journey to economic dominance in Don VS Dodo and Toplitz Productions’ Industry Giant 4.0, where they shape an industrial empire from the ground up. The game enters Early Access on October 24, and from day one, gamers can enhance their industrial empire with support for DLSS 3 with Frame Generation and Super Resolution, DLAA, and Reflex.

For the first time in its storied legacy, John Marston’s beloved journey can be experienced in Red Dead Redemption on PC in stunning, new detail, with both Red Dead Redemption and its iconic zombie-horror companion story, Undead Nightmare, arriving on PC on October 29. In collaboration with Double Eleven, Rockstar Games’ new release adds PC-specific enhancements. This includes adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings, native 4K resolution rendering at up to 144 FPS / 144Hz on compatible hardware, monitor support for both Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9), HDR10 support, full keyboard and mouse functionality, and more. There’s also day-one support for NVIDIA DLSS 3 with Frame Generation and Super Resolution, and NVIDIA Reflex.

Rise as Rook, Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s newest hero on October 31. Players can be who they want and play how they want as they fight to stop the gods from blighting the world. Gamers cannot do this alone, so they should team up with various companions as they attempt to save the world. They can accelerate performance with DLSS 3, make gameplay even more responsive with Reflex, and enhance image quality and immersion with ray-traced ambient occlusion and ray-traced reflections. Gamers can download NVIDIA’s newest GeForce Game Ready Driver to ensure their experience is optimized from the instant they start playing.

Airship Syndicate’s Wayfinder (Wayfinder) is a three-player character co-op action RPG where players team up, explore, and collect Wayfinders, weapons, housing items, and more. With the World of Evenor shattered, gamers must harness the power of a Wayfinder to control the chaos that has overrun their world. Wayfinder exited Early Access on October 21 with a new content update, which also introduced support for DLSS Super Resolution, enabling GeForce RTX players to accelerate frame rates.

Explore the galaxies like never before in Star Wars Outlaws GeForce RTX 40 Series Bundle with a new story set between Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Take on high-risk, high-reward missions as the galaxy’s most wanted in Star Wars Outlaws and marvel at iconic ray-traced Star Wars locations, which are enhanced with NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 AI-powered graphics to deliver an unparalleled PC experience on GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs. As part of NVIDIA’s collaboration with Ubisoft, Massive Entertainment, and Lucasfilm Games on Star Wars Outlaws, players can get the Star Wars Outlaws GeForce RTX 40 Series Bundle until November 12.

On October 22, NVIDIA also launched their newest Game Ready Driver, packed with support for many of the new games, all featuring support for DLSS 3 with Frame Generation and Super Resolution. By installing NVIDIA’s new driver, players will optimize their experience in Alan Wake 2: The Lake House, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, No More Room In Hell 2, Red Dead Redemption, and The Axis Unseen.

NVIDIA’s newest Game Ready Driver also adds support for 32 G-SYNC Compatible displays that deliver a baseline Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) experience that makes gaming smoother and more enjoyable.
