To ensure minimal camera shake, the COOLPIX P600 is equipped with an electronic viewfinder with approximately 201k-dot, 0.2-inch type LCD. Looking through the electronic viewfinder stabilizes the photographer’s posture and a side zoom lever assures minimal shake when zooming. Even if image blur occurs when shooting from a moving vehicle or while walking, the new ACTIVE mode on the P600 effectively compensates for it, resulting in clear, sharp images.
If pictures aren’t enough to tell the whole story, the P600 enables Full HD 1080/60i video recording with stereo sound to capture all your daring escapades in brilliant detail. The camera comes with record pause, still-image saving and optical zoom during movie recording functions, as well as HDMI support. It also allows autofocus and the ability to lock auto exposure during movie recording.
