Nickelodeon Investigates Data Breach, Assures No Sensitive Information Compromised

Iconic American TV channel Nickelodeon has confirmed a data breach that occurred earlier this year. Reports of a “major” leak from Nickelodeon’s animation department surfaced, claiming that approximately 500GB of documents and media files had been stolen. However, Nickelodeon has assured that the stolen data does not contain personally identifiable information or sensitive data related to employees, customers, or partners. The breached data primarily consists of production resources and intellectual property, some of which are decades old.
