Neon White is Coming to Xbox Game Pass: Get Ready for Speedrunning, Platforming, and Demon-Slaying

This stylish card-based shooter is coming to Xbox Game Pass

Microsoft’s Xbox Games Extended Showcase unveiled a host of new indie titles making their way to Game Pass, including Neon White. While the Xbox release date for Neon White is yet to be announced, Game Pass subscribers will have the opportunity to try out the game at no additional cost once it arrives on Microsoft’s consoles.

Neon White, initially launched on PC and Nintendo Switch in June 2022 and later on PlayStation in December, is a fast-paced platformer that caters to the desires of speedrunners. Players must eliminate all demons on each level before reaching the exit, aiming to achieve the best possible time and outpace friends on the leaderboard. Adding to its uniqueness, the game also incorporates dating sim elements, embodying the distinct and stylish traits typically associated with publisher Annapurna Interactive.

During the showcase, Microsoft also announced that nine more indie titles would be joining Game Pass on their respective launch days through the ID@Xbox program. Among them is Little Kitty Big City, an adorable narrative puzzle game where players assist a lost cat in finding its way home. Little Kitty Big City will be available on Xbox, Switch, and PC in early 2023, and a demo will be accessible during the upcoming Steam Next Fest later this month. Additionally, Another Crab’s Treasure, a charming Soulslike experience, is slated for release on the same platforms in early 2023.

Techtonica presents a first-person factory automation game, while The Wandering Village offers a city-building simulation taking place on the back of a colossal roaming creature. Other indie titles announced for Game Pass include Sea of Stars, a turn-based RPG; Mineko’s Night Market, a social simulation adventure; Harold Halibut, a handcrafted narrative experience; Galacticare, a hospital management game; and The Bookwalker, a narrative-driven adventure.

With the arrival of these diverse indie titles on Game Pass, Microsoft continues to bolster its library, providing subscribers with a wide array of engaging and unique gaming experiences to explore.
