Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Title Update 4 Set to Launch with New Monsters

The most recent Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak digital event has officially completed, and players now know when the game’s free Title Update 4 will be released. Fans were also given a first glance at the new Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak creatures, as well as new endgame and premium downloadable content.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s free Title Update 3 was released a few months ago. Despite the fact that the game was just published on next-generation platforms such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, no new content was included to commemorate the event. Most fans will remember, however, that the development team likes to use free title updates to add new monsters, features, or repairs to Sunbreak. This is most likely why the fourth one has been long awaited by the game’s community.

The additional content will be accessible on February 7, 2023, according to the promotional trailer of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s free Title Update 4. The digital event also revealed the addition of two new monsters to the roster: Velkhana and Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax. Velkhana is most likely known to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne fans as the game’s marquee monster. Though hunters may already face the Crimson Glow Valstrax in Sunbreak’s basic game, its Risen form is just now being introduced to the title. When the upgrade is ultimately published, hunters will encounter a more fearsome version of the Elder Dragon.

Capcom also released additional endgame content for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s free Title Update 4. The Chaotic Gore Magala has been added to the mix of monster hunts in the game’s Anomaly Research Quests. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s Risen Elder Dragons will also be featured in the roster of Anomaly Research Quests, which is likely why the feature’s level ceiling will be raised to 220 when the update arrives. Other new material includes new weekly event tasks in which players may engage to earn aesthetic benefits, as well as paid DLC that alters the appearance of a hunter, its Palico, or Palamute.

Given the success of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, Capcom picked Velkhana as the new monster to be included in Sunbreak’s free Title Update 4. Fans of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, on the other hand, have a lot to look forward to. The game’s free Title Update 5 will be released in April 2023, and it seems to promise the return of another Elder Dragon, among other things.
