Meta’s Horizon Worlds will be accessible to younger teens in the US and Canada in the coming weeks, the company has announced. The move follows concerns from lawmakers about the potential lack of safety measures for younger users. Horizon Worlds will offer “robust” safety features, such as private profiles and age ratings, to ensure the experience is age-appropriate. Parents will also have access to controls through the Meta Quest app or Family Center, including the ability to allow or block apps, track usage, and monitor who’s following their child.
