Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV Arrives with an $181,050 Starting Price: A Luxury Bargain Among High-End SUVs

The all-new Maybach EQS 680 SUV offers premium, emissions-free driving with a competitive price compared to its luxury SUV rivals.

Mercedes-Benz dealerships are now welcoming the new Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV, the first all-electric Maybach model, with a starting price of $181,050. This price includes the $1,150 destination fee.

In terms of pricing within the Maybach range, the EQS 680 SUV is the second most affordable model, just behind the gas-powered Maybach GLS, priced at $171,150. The Maybach S-Class tops the trio with a starting price of $194,550.

Despite its Maybach luxury status, the EQS 680 SUV is competitively priced when compared to other high-end luxury SUVs. For instance, the Bentley Bentayga EWB is priced at $226,900, and the Rolls-Royce Cullinan starts at $345,000. The BMW XM is the most affordable in this class at $159,995.

Standard equipment for the Maybach EQS includes features such as an air suspension with adaptive damping, 21-inch wheels, and the MBUX Hyperscreen, which consists of a 17.7-inch center touchscreen and a 12.3-inch passenger screen. The second row comes with a three-row bench seat by default, but buyers can opt for the Executive Rear Seat package at no extra cost, which provides two lounge chairs and additional amenities like folding rear tables, rear heated armrests, two 11.6-inch touchscreens, and heated and cooled cup holders.

Under the hood, every Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV features a dual-motor electric powertrain generating 649 horsepower and 700 pound-feet of torque. This power enables the EQS to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. The electric SUV is equipped with a standard 107.8-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack, offering an estimated 300 miles of driving range.

For those seeking additional luxury and customization, there’s the Night Series package, available for $25,000, which includes executive rear seats, dark chrome exterior elements, 21-inch wheels, walnut interior accents, black pearl Nappa leather, and unique ambient lighting features. With the Night Series package, the total cost rises to $206,050.
