Mercedes-electric Benz’s G-Wagen will be available in mid-2024, according to the company’s chairman

The G-Wagen has always been as much about prestige as it is about going off-road, so anticipate the production EQG to be equipped with all of the same goodies that Mercedes-Benz has been rolling out in its newest, most costly cars, such as the EQS sedan.

If Mercedes-Benz can deliver the EQG with the same range and performance as its EQS and EQE sedans on the company’s new electric vehicle platform, the electric G-Wagen may be something to see.

Mercedes-Benz plans to become all-electric by 2030, investing €40 billion ($47 billion) in the endeavor.
