Smilegate, a South Korean company, has issued a lengthy patch notes describing the newest Lost Ark content drop. The 7,000-word changelog covers everything from class expansions and new advancement events to a slew of quality-of-life enhancements and modifications to the in-game economy aimed at combating cheaters, among other things.
Lost Ark had its South Korean premiere in late 2019, before making its way to the West early this year thanks to a publishing arrangement between Smilegate and Amazon Games. The free-to-play MMORPG garnered mostly positive reviews and has acquired a sizable worldwide following, yet its success has also resulted in a bot issue, as seen by a recent cheater purge that resulted in the suspension of over one million Lost Ark accounts.
