Lord of the Rings: Gollum Dev Apologizes for Buggy, Unsatisfying Game

The highly anticipated game, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, launched on Friday, but initial reviews have been largely negative, citing numerous bugs and lackluster gameplay. GamesRadar, in particular, described the game as “one to avoid altogether” and not living up to expectations.

TRG, a prominent gaming publication, encountered difficulties in obtaining a review copy of the game and was left without access to it.

In response to the criticism surrounding the launch, developer Daedalic Entertainment issued an apology via Twitter. They expressed deep regret that the game did not meet their own expectations or those of the dedicated community.
