LG is bringing the fight to Samsung’s lineup of smart monitors by infusing their new MyView displays with built-in streaming and productivity features. Available in three models ranging from 32 to 34 inches, these 4K panels aim to outshine the competition when it comes to image quality and convenience.
At the core, you have sharp 4K resolution on an IPS panel with up to 400 nits brightness and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. This foundation already provides richer detail and viewing angles compared to Samsung’s VA displays. Combined with HDR support, it gives creativity apps and light gaming a vibrant boost.
But where the MyView lineup really stands apart is its inclusion of webOS for accessing top streaming platforms like a smart TV. Add to that native wireless casting and LG’s voice assistant for hands-free control. You also have Office 365 and Google Calendar built-in to handle work tasks.
The higher-end 32SR85U model even offers 90 watts of power delivery for charging laptops, plus an attachable 1080p webcam for video calls. With sleek thin bezels and an adjustable stand, it’s built to multitask in style.
Pricing remains unannounced for the US, but these monitors seem positioned to surpass Samsung’s offering at around the $500 mark. Bringing true cinematic colors into a 4K panel already tailored for creators, along with smart TV convenience, the MyView series monitors look ready to claim the lead. For home office and entertainment spaces seeking an all-in-one upgrade, LG has set the bar high.
