After another user pointed out that Xbox executives are managing expectations by saying that only the four games already mentioned (hotly anticipated titles like Redfall, Forza Motorsport, and Minecraft Legends) would be discussed at the event, Billbil-kun went on to stress that they weren’t sure when exactly the title would be announced. There was also no mention of billbil-alleged kun’s concept art, which may be from a different game completely. However, part of the alleged concept art backdrop has the words “Hi-Fi,” although in an entirely different typeface than the Bethesda trademark.
Fans of Xbox and Bethesda will not have to wait long for the Developer Direct event to begin. It’s possible that Xbox executives are downplaying the possibility of any new announcements in order to keep fans from speculating too much about what might be announced at the upcoming event, but it’s also possible that Tango Gameworks’ upcoming project will be announced later at another event, such as the Game Developer Conference (GDC) or PAX East in March 2023.
