Intel Core i9-14900KF Shatters Overclocking World Record with Liquid Helium Cooling

Flagship Raptor Lake Refresh CPU Achieves Impressive 9.04GHz on Single Core

Intel’s flagship Raptor Lake Refresh processor, the Core i9-14900KF, has made waves in the overclocking world by breaking the previous world record. The accomplishment involved ramping up the Core i9-14900KF to an impressive 9044MHz (or 9.04GHz) on a single core, thanks to a team of overclockers from Asus. Notably, the Core i9-14900KF is identical to the 14900K, with the key distinction being the absence of integrated graphics.

To achieve this remarkable overclock, liquid helium cooling was utilized, a common method in extreme overclocking scenarios. The PC used for this feat was based on an Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Apex Encore motherboard and powered by a 1200W Enermax power supply.
