Infinity Ward Brings Back Hardcore Mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s Season 2

Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been a huge success, cementing its spot as one of the most popular and successful series in the video game business. With its realistic guns, score streaks, and well-designed settings, the game’s multiplayer component continues to attract millions of gamers worldwide. However, a sizable proportion of Call of Duty gamers wants a more difficult experience. To put it bluntly, these players are devoted to the game.

Infinity Ward has revealed intentions to bring the Hardcore mode to the game, which is great news for these loyal gamers. According to the official Twitter account of the developer, “No HUD? Not a problem.” In addition, Infinity Ward will disclose further multiplayer enhancements for Season 2 in a studio blog post later this week.

Hardcore mode is a more difficult version of the game with a few important alterations for those who are unfamiliar with it. Friendly Fire is often enabled, which means that players must use extreme caution while shooting their weapons in order to prevent harming or killing colleagues. Season 2’s Hardcore mode will be revealed in the following days, although it is believed to contain a limited HUD, lesser health, and a considerably faster time to die (TTK).

The reintroduction of the Hardcore option has piqued the interest of many Modern Warfare 2 gamers, with many expressing their delight and support on social media. We will have to wait till the new season is officially released to learn more about the exact additions and modifications to the multiplayer component of the game. Regardless, committed athletes should expect a more difficult and intensive experience in the next season.
