Iconic Spider-Man villains are now playable characters in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Two of the most beloved villains from Spider-rogues Man’s gallery are now playable characters in a new update for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. These are Venom and Carnage, the series’ renowned symbiote antagonists. Venom has made several appearances in video games, ranging from Spider-Man-themed games to Marvel vs. Capcom titles. Except for Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Venom was playable in every game in this crossover series and was only included as DLC in Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite after the game launched. This patch helps to correct that.

Custom character modifications are now feasible thanks to recent improvements in the game’s modding community, after breaking past the game’s built-in limits. As a consequence, the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 palette switch mod was created, which uses current character costume spots in the roster and replaces them with brand-new characters. This has resulted in the playability of characters such as Thanos, Ultron, and Asura by changing the character outfits of Mike Haggar, Frank West, and Iron Man, respectively. These modifications do the same thing by including the previously stated Venom and Carnage.
