Huawei’s next flagship phone series is on the horizon, if the latest leaks are to be believed. Noted Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has offered up a sneak peek at what we may see in the upcoming P70 lineup, expected in the next couple months.
Details remain unofficial, but it looks like the P70 could flaunt some drool-worthy specs. That includes a curved 6.7-inch OLED display with extra sharp 1.5K resolution and possibly stereo speakers up front. The tipster also mentions an unconventional triangular rear camera array – suggesting three lenses packed with megapixel power.
The star of the show may be a 50MP main shooter courtesy of OmniVision using a large 1/1.3-inch sensor, variable aperture lens and 1.2?m pixel size for stellar low light shots. Powering all this photography prowess will likely be Huawei’s latest Kirin 9010 chipset and a substantial 5,000mAh battery.
Previous leaks indicate the P70 family will bring a considerable ultra wide camera upgrade over its predecessor as well. If true, content creators have a promising new photography toolbox coming from Huawei soon.
With last year’s well-reviewed P60 series arriving in March, a spring unveiling feels imminent for the P70 and its siblings. Huawei struggled against US sanctions recently but seems poised to come out swinging with an spec-packed flagship to kick off 2024.
Stay tuned for more tidbits as the rumor mill keeps churning. But if early clues ring true, the P70 may set new bars in camera performance and battery endurance when it likely debuts in the coming months.
