Hands on impressions
You’d easily notice the M8 and M9 have a similar chassis and I wouldn’t blame you for being fooled if you think it were the case. While it certainly does feel premium, it may come across to some HTC veteran users as a shinier version of the m8, the guts of the phone however have been vastly improved. The camera isn’t as bad as you’d think either, with moving the ultrapixel camera to the front face, it means you can get some selfies in dark places. We tested the HTC one’s panorama and it certainly did pretty well at tracking especially in a low light situation. HTC Sense 7 too has become more intuitive. Personally, I’m waiting for HTC to release the M9 Max and mini models to see where they go with this, a m9 phablet certainly would be a welcome addition to the range.
