HP’s New Eco-Friendly Laser Printer Line to Cut Energy Consumption by 30 Percent

HP, the old-school IT behemoth, has recently announced a revamp of its Color LaserJet printer series aimed at lowering both energy use and physical waste. The business claims that these printers save energy usage by up to 27% while reducing plastic packaging components by 78%.

The reduction in energy use is due to HP’s unique TerraJet laser toner, which the firm claims is engineered for optimal sustainability. The new HP TerraJet cartridges that come with these printers have a smaller carbon footprint than predecessors while providing a 20% boost in printed colours. HP also claims that these printers have been rebuilt for speed, so anticipate a 25% increase in print speed.
